Our Top Priorities
As many of you know, the vision of establishing a Sahaja school in the Western Hemisphere for middle—and high-school-aged students began with the remarkable $1 purchase of a large municipal school building.
Ever since then, more Sahaja children have wanted to attend than could enrol, primarily due to limited residential space.
To fulfill the wishes of our youth, we embraced the financial challenge of expanding our enrollment capacity — gradually increasing it from 23 to 73 students. To accommodate more students and staff, we have implemented major improvements focused on increasing capacity while enhancing the educational experience for returning students seeking a Canadian High School Diploma.
To Accommodate Additional Students:
- Purchased, remodeled, and furnished four residential properties
- Converted a garage into a Meditation Hall
- Expanded and upgraded the kitchen
- Drilled a new water well
- Expanded the Meditation Hall
- Installed a new septic system
To Improve the Learning Experience :
- Built a Science Lab to enhance the learning experience for high school students
A significant portion of the funding for most of these improvements came from institutional loans. Our top fundraising priority is to lighten or eliminate this debt. Progress toward this goal allows us to maintain:
- Affordable tuition
- Quality education and living conditions
- Adequate remuneration for staff
Your support truly makes a difference!
