The DEVI School in Mill Village, Nova Scotia, is seeking Dorm Staff (Dorm Aunties or Uncles) for the 2025/2026 academic year. These live-in caregivers serve as the heart of the school community, supporting and nurturing students outside of school hours and on weekends.
About the Role
Dorm Staff are loving, stable, and joyful yogis or yoginis who provide day-to-day care and guidance to over 60 students aged 10 to 18. In this special role, you’ll essentially “stand in” for the students’ parents, creating a supportive, vibrationally rich environment in which children can thrive.
Key Qualities
- Energetic, in good physical and mental health
- Patient, nurturing, other-centered, and generous
- Good sense of humor and strong love for tweens and teens
- Committed to Sahaj life and collective living
Responsibilities Include
- Overall vibrational care and support (e.g., leading meditations or treatments)
- Enforcing dorm routines, including chores, hygiene, and tidiness
- Supporting students with homework and accompanying them on outings
- Providing emotional, vibrational, and basic health care support
- Frequent communication with the Head of School and Principal
- Light housecleaning, laundry, and kitchen duties
- Living in the dorm and sharing life with the students
Note: Dorm Staff receive one day and night off per week and must be deeply comfortable with collective living.

The DEVI School in Mill Village, Nova Scotia, is seeking a dedicated Office Administrator.
About the Role
This is a dynamic position with a strong emphasis on communication and organizational support. We’re looking for a well-established Sahaj yogi or yogini with some administrative experience, who is alert, discreet, and flexible. The successful applicant will also be able to provide limited support remotely during the summer months.
