I studied social and cultural anthropology and later drama pedagogy. I’ve worked in global education, journalism, and as a drama teacher. I joined DEVI School three years ago as a dorm auntie and teacher.
Last year, I was the head teacher of DEVI School. I quickly grew to love Shri Mataji’s school and its students and staff. I feel I’m at the right place with the right people engaged in the vibrant and always-changing task of working here.

Since finding Sahaja Yoga in 1992 in my home country of Switzerland, I have incorporated this meditative practice into all aspects of my life. My Canadian wife and I moved to Canada 20 years ago and helped to start the DEVI School in 2017.
My hobbies include traveling with my Robinson R22, real estate (I own a Swiss real estate business), as well as running on Sunday mornings. I’m looking forward to the next decade to further improve the school in all aspects.

I was raised in Waterloo, Ontario, and in 1996 discovered Sahaja Yoga in Toronto. Since then, my life has been full of adventure and fun. 2014 was an especially memorable year, serving as Principal to an amazing group of students at ISPS.
I am a qualified teacher and love working with children and teens. Marcel and I are excited to be helping establish a Sahaj school here in Nova Scotia.
Together, we’ve lived in many places, but now we look forward to sharing the deep peace and beauty of this, our home, with the world!

Receiving my realization in 1999 in Germany and getting married by Shri Mataji over 20 years ago made me what I am today. Since my marriage, I have lived in Brazil, enjoying a great Sahaj collective and being blessed by raising two beautiful realized souls.
As our son and our daughter were lucky enough to start studying at the DEVI School in 2018 and 2019, I got more and more involved in Mother’s amazing Sahaj education project in rural Nova Scotia.
During the past 5 years, I have had the immense pleasure of volunteering at the DEVI School as a chef, dorm auntie, teacher, and now a society member.
It’s difficult to put into words how much this experience has contributed to my spiritual growth and connection with the world Sanga.

I’m a passionate educator with a deep-rooted commitment to nurturing young minds. From 2019 to 2022, I had the privilege of volunteering as a Science Teacher at the DEVI School, where I discovered my love for secondary education infused with Sahaj values. This incredible experience inspired me to continue contributing to the DEVI School community.
In recent years, I have been teaching Science in secondary schools across London, further honing my skills and deepening my understanding of the educational landscape. Recently, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Secondary Education (PGCE) for Chemistry, which has strengthened my dedication to this field.
Since January 2024, I’ve been serving as the Acting Secretary for the DEVI School Society, where I’m actively involved in staff recruitment, STEM subject support, and assisting teachers working with students who have educational needs.
My connection to the DEVI School goes beyond teaching—I’ve been a student myself, attending ISPS from 2009 to 2014, and have practiced Sahaja Yoga throughout my life. This lifelong journey has profoundly shaped my approach to education and my commitment to fostering holistic development and sharing Sahaj Values with students.

An unexpected variety of work and life experiences has allowed me to contribute to this important Sahaja Yoga project. These include international student hosting and counseling, youth program development, childcare operations, information technology services, construction, English language tutoring, and property development.
Additionally, I’ve been a Sahaja Yoga practitioner and mentor for over 40 years, having begun as a teenager. As a parent, I have firsthand experience with Sahaja Yoga boarding schools, with my child attending from preschool through high school.
